Three of the holiest places in India in one journey: Varanasi on the Ganges, Gaya, where Hindus offer pind daan for their ancestors at the Vishnupad Temple, and Bodhgaya, where the Buddha attained enlightenment. The 5 Days Varanasi, Gaya & Bodhgaya Tour (4 nights / 5 days) starts and ends in Varanasi, with two nights there and two in Bodhgaya in 3-star hotels with breakfast, a private air-conditioned car and local guides.
In Varanasi you watch the fire-lit Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat, take a sunrise boat ride past the burning ghats, and visit Kashi Vishwanath, the Sankat Mochan and Durga temples and Sarnath, where the Buddha gave his first sermon. Then you drive about 250 km to Bodhgaya to meditate beneath the Bodhi tree at the UNESCO-listed Mahabodhi Temple, see the Great Buddha Statue and the monasteries of many nations, and visit Gaya for the Vishnupad Temple, with time to perform pind daan with a priest if you wish, and the Dungeshwari caves.
