A journey through the spiritual heartland of South Asia. From Delhi and the Taj Mahal you travel to Varanasi on the sacred Ganges and to Sarnath, where the Buddha gave his first sermon, then follow the pilgrim route to Kushinagar, where he passed away, and across the border to Lumbini in Nepal, where he was born.
The journey continues to the jungles of Chitwan, the lakeside town of Pokhara under the Annapurnas, and finally the temple-filled Kathmandu Valley.
