Ghorepani Poonhill tour and treks is considered as one of the easy trek in Nepal with the beautiful view of Mt. Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and Manaslu ranges. It is also known as Poon Hill trek. Poon Hill is the best view points to see the sunrise.. This trek can combine to Annapurna base camp, Jomsom Muktinath and Annapurna circuit. It offers the best time while there are freshly snows in winter and rhododendron in spring.

Ghorepani area is short and adventurous trekking area of Nepal. It is situated at western part of Kathmandu. This is one of the best destination which offers to view scenarios of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchchhre and Himchuli. Beautiful mountain scenery, pristine forests, diversity of flora and fauna are main highlights of this trek. I allows to view the culture of Gurung’s and Magar society of Nepal along with their hearten welcome for you.

Trip Highlights: Typical Magar and Gurung villages at Ulleri and Ghandruk, Sunrise and panoramic mountain views from Poon Hill; rhododendron and alpine trees, City tour, Pokhara – the city of Lake and so on.

Ghorepani – Poon Hill Trek: The trek to Ghorepani – Poon Hill (Pun Hill) which is located in Annapurna region, is truly called as all the best of the trekking in Nepal. One of the important highlight of this trip is to make a climb on Poon Hill, possibly the most spectacular mountain scrapes on Earth. When sun rises, it touches the snow-capped summits the Himalayan giants, Dhaulagiri (8,167m) and Annapurna (8,091m) along with a maze of other peaks, there gradually appear, just like magic that your eye could not believe. Besides, during journey, you are rewarded by the natural beauties in your each & every footsteps.

Outline Itinerary

Day 01: Drive from Pokhara to Banthati [3 hour] then trek 3 hour to Ghorepani 2855m.
Day 02: Hike to Poon hill (3210m) in the morning and Trek to Banthati then drive to Pokhara.

After breakfast we drive to Banthati (3 hour) which is the starting point for the trek.

Day 02 Hike to Poon hill (3210m) in the morning and Trek to Banthati then Drive.
Today we will wake you early in the morning and we will hike to Poon Hill (45 min) 3210m to see the panoramic Himalaya (Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I, Fishtail, Annapurna South, Annapurna II, Annapurna IV, Hiunchuli, Nilgiri, Manaslu and many others) and sunrise. Back to lodge to take a breakfast and continue trek to Banthati then drive to Pokhara.

Trip Notes

This tour is possible from Oct to Jun month only as of now considering road condition. For other month say Jul/Aug/Sep month we need to revise the itinerary to 3 days with more trekking hour.
Wear Flexible and Sport Shoes
You can buy required equipment in Kathmandu or Pokhara.
Important: We need scanned passport copy and photograph by email at least 2 working day before [ Mon-Fri/ except Govt.Holiday] in order to make Acaap/Tims/Staff Insurance]. So allow us that at least 2 day before your trip start from Pokhara. You can email us passport copy/passport size photo for this purpose.

Cancellation Policy

Policy Regarding Cancellation / NO SHOW / EARLY DEPARTURE
In the event of cancellation of tour / travel/Trekking services – due to any avoidable / unavoidable reason, you must be informed in writing. Cancellation charges would be effective from the date we receive advice in writing and cancellation charges would be as follows:-

Before 60 days – No cancellation charge.
From 60 days to 45 days – 5% of the total tour / service cost
From 45 days to 15 days – 10% of the total tour / service cost
From 15 days to 07 days – 15% of the total tour / service cost
From 07 days to 02 days (48 hrs) – 30% of the total tour / service cost
From 48 hours to arrival or NO SHOW – NO REFUND

In case you cancel the trip after commencement, refund would be restricted to a limited amount, which too would depend on the amount that we would be able to recover from the hoteliers/contractors we patronize. For unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation & missed meals etc. we do not bear any responsibility to refund.
