It is to inform you all that Annapurna Base Camp Trekking Trail has been opened. Trekkers started to trek back to the Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) route nearly a month after seven trekkers went missing in an avalanche that hit the area. Eight trekkers reached the ABC area and five more arrived at the Chumrung checkpoint on their way to the ABC on Friday.

However, the trekking route is still considered dangerous, we would like to request all trekkers to travel through registered trekking agencies to mitigate the risks. Please, remain more attentive while trekking towards Machhapuchhre Based Camp. According to the weather forecast, it is said that weather is expected to change from February 17 and chances of snowfall on February 21 and 22. Therefore, we advised all member companies to be careful and to stay in contact with their trekking teams regularly.
