Langtang scenic flight starts from Kathmandu airport and flies towards north chasing the Langtang range where you can enjoy beautiful scenery of mountain range in front of you. You fly over the Lake Gosainkunda and different Tamang village settled in a beautiful terrace. The landscape are just amazing and wonderful.
Flights starts from Kathmandu airport flying to Kyanjin Gompa, a Tibetan subculture valley with beautiful mountain views where you will be given Max. 20 mins for Tea/breakfast. Holding longer will be a serious altitude threat.
This tour will take total of 1 and half hour.

Day 01 Kathmandu airport – Fly to Langtang (Kyanjin Gompa) and back to Kathmandu
Early in the morning, a private car will come to pick you up at your hotel in Kathmandu and transfer you to the airport. After the departure formalities in the airport, the helicopter departs from the Tribhuvan International Airport and heads towards the Langtang Valley. The Helicopter lands at Kyanjin Ghompa. There will be a 20 minutes free time given to you. Later on we return bacl to the airport in Kathmandu. From the airport, you will be transferred to your hotel.

Trip Notes

Also if you have your own choice of a Hospital you would like to be taken to, we would be more than glad to help/assist you get there.
Yes, Helicopters are permitted to land at the hospital premises if need be during rescue evacuations provided the hospital has a helipad or an open space wide and safe enough for us to land. The different hospitals that have facilities as mentioned above include Shahid Gangalal Heart Care Hospital, Teaching Hospital (Kathmandu), Manipal Hospital (Pokhara) or any Army hospital if they give us the authority to.

No, there is no such age limit to travel in a helicopter unless you have been restricted from doing so by your medical doctor.
Kindly be advised that we charge you at the whole helicopter charter rate regardless of the number of passengers be it one or 5. Infants are not considered as passengers as they sit on your lap.
Absolutely. B2 and B3 helicopters have a small sliding window installed at the front passenger’s window whereby you could take your lens out for the magnificent views of the Himalayas. For the passengers at the back, you will have to click pictures from inside the glass window.

Yes, all helicopters in Nepal operate in VFR (Visual Flight Rules) condition and hence for any flight to take place we need good weather conditions with visibility as per flight operation rule requirements.

AS 350B (Eurocopter) – a French Helicopter a 5 seater can land up to an altitude of 16000 ft.

The busy tourist season in Nepal are March, April, October, November & December. But in May through Sep is Kailash Pilgrimage tour season and most of the Helicopter will be busy at this time too.
Cancellation Policy
The Charterer will be liable to pay 100% of the positioning flight and 25% of the contract amount in the event of cancellation of charter flight by the Charterer.
