Heli Tour to Everest Base Camp is a sightseeing tour that takes you to the base of the highest peak in the whole world, the Mt. Everest via a chopper. This tour will take you to the Everest Base Camp around and Kalapatthar and get you back at the hotel in about 4-5 hours.

Then, later, you will have the panoramic views of the white snow peaks, tranquil green hills, and glaciated pass until we get off at the high peak of Kala Patthar.
The landing at Kala Patthar will only be for a short duration as you will land there to enjoy the panoramic views of the Everest, Nuptse, Cholatse, Lhotse, Pumori, and other peaks of the Mahalangur Mountain Range. You will also be dropped at the world’s highest resort and after breakfast, fly back to the capital city.

Day 01Everest Heli Trip
05:30 AM: Drive from your hotel to the Tribhuvan International Airport.
06:30 AM: Fly to the Everest Base Camp. The flight will take us about half an hour to get to Lukla. Refuel and again fly parallel to the Himalayan Ranges to look at the breathtaking and picturesque peaks of the Mahalangur Mountain Ranges. Also, enjoy the views of the historical Gompas and emerald mountain lakes. Enjoy the 360-degree views of the Khumbu Himal, Ama Dablam(6812 m), Kangtega (6782m), Nuptse(7754m), Lhotse (8516m), Cho Oyo (8210m), Pumori (7161m), Lobuche (6119m), Cholatse (6440 m), Mera Peak (6654m), Island Peak (6173m), and Mt. Everest (8848m).
8:45 AM: Photo Session at the 5545 meters high Kala Patthar. There will be a brief stopover (10-15mins) at Kala Patthar-5545m (the site of the ‘World’s Highest Cabinet Meeting’) to capture some pictures. From Kala Patthar, one can get the closest views of the Mount Everest.
10:00 AM: Fly to Kathmandu via Syangboche & Lukla
11:30 AM: Arrive at Kathmandu from the Everest region and transfer to hotel. You can continue your regular tours then.

Yes, Helicopters are permitted to land at the hospital premises if need be during rescue evacuations provided the hospital has a helipad or an open space wide and safe enough for us to land. The different hospitals that have facilities as mentioned above include Shahid Gangalal Heart Care Hospital, Teaching Hospital (Kathmandu), Manipal Hospital (Pokhara) or any Army hospital if they give us the authority to.

No, there is no such age limit to travel in a helicopter unless you have been restricted from doing so by your medical doctor.

Absolutely. B2 and B3 helicopters have a small sliding window installed at the front passenger’s window whereby you could take your lens out for the magnificent views of the Himalayas. For the passengers at the back, you will have to click pictures from inside the glass window.

Yes, all helicopters in Nepal operate in VFR (Visual Flight Rules) condition and hence for any flight to take place we need good weather conditions with visibility as per flight operation rule requirements. If the flight cancelled and can not take off from Kathmandu airport, you will get full refund.

The busy tourist season in Nepal are March, April, October, November & December. But in May through Sep is Kailash Pilgrimage tour season and most of the Helicopter will be busy at this time too.

To secure your booking as an overseas client, we expect you to book at least 7-10 days in advance of the flight date with an initial deposit of 25%. The cancellation policy is as follows: Cancellation made 7 days before flight: 100% refund Cancellation made between 7 days-24 hours before flight: 50% refund Cancellation made between 24 hours and flight: no refund.
